Title: Pre-pre-release jitters
Post by: Missingkirby34 on April 25, 2013, 09:16:26 PM
So I'm going to my LGS tomorrow at midnight for the pre-release... I still don't know what guild I'm going so I'm leaving it up to you, my choices are;

Rakdos

Or

Dimir

I will not check this thread until tomorrow afternoon, and from there I will tally the votes, that will be my guild. Thank you all.

Rakdos if youre feeling spike(better chance of winning imo)

Dimir if you want an interesting, thought filled pre-release

I think rakdos is the better option to actually win

BOROS!!!
In all honesty, go Rakdos if you like zombies and sadistic humans. That's what I would pick, if I weren't already set on Boros.

Dimir seems very powerful according to PV and my original assumptions.

I'll say Dimir if your tactical.

If you feel like tapping everything, then Rakdos. :)

Yeah I'm not going seeing as the closest card shop is 2 hours away, and those people are *****, and even the next one is 3 hours away...

Yeah I don't want to go...

Rakdos will be more aggressive but dimir will likely play out more controlling.

You think so? I respectfully disagree

Rakdos has superior allies but either way you can end up with both.

I like Rakdos, myself. Any of their 4 possible allies are solid additions. On top of Red/Black agro of Rakdos itself, it's allies will add one of the following incredible additions:

Boros: additional R/W aggression
Gruul: bloodrush. 'Nuff said.
Orzhov: late game and bleeder effects (including extort) for additional pings and late-game finishers if Rakdos starts running out of gas
Dimir: Unblockable and tricky additional attacks, cipher that assists in mid-late game attacking, like {hands of binding}

Rakdos has the better allies all they way. If you hit one of your red allies then you are super agressive, if you hit Dimir you can be tricky. And if you hit orzhov then you can bleed and unleash which would be sick.

Yeah I don't want to go...

My closest shop for prerelease is about 300 km... According to Norwegian speed limits 4 hrs in car... Then only bcs of that event I took plane to capital city...;) And I will do the same with MGD...;)

Sometimes distance is not important...;)
