In conjunction with my 3000th post, and our moderators desire to have a fun thing to be involved in. iMtG Gathering Council is proud to present the first ever.
Great Moderator Search
What we are looking for:
⚫You should be active in the forum. That does not include "I'll start becoming more active when I become a mod, I promise "
⚫You should be a mature, tactful, helpful individual in good standing with the community. (Kuberr need not apply). Agree to iMtG law and respect logic.
⚫You should have good grasp of the rules, deck building strategy and generally have something to offer the community.
How to Apply
The contest will consist of multiple rounds, with us eventually rounding things down to a single individual the moderators and Piotr best thinks fits what we're looking for in a Moderator. Rounds will be held weekly with finals culminating in May. What we are looking for in Round 1 is the following
An Essay of 500 words or less to be Private Messaged to Me (Dudecore). Highlighting the following subjects.
⚫Why do you want to be a Moderator?
⚫What do you bring to the iMtG community?
⚫What are your strengths, what are your weaknesses as a player?
⚫What separates you from other potential moderators?
I will be accepting Essays until MAY 1st, 2013.
These essays will then be compiled and placed in a secret area where Moderators will accept or decline the invitations based on some criteria (Grammar, character, ect.) There will be NO CUTS during the 1st and 2nd phases.

Round 4 - May 15th - May 22nd
Announcement - May 22nd
The winner will be granted "Hand" status as a member of the iMtG Council. Good luck to all participants and we look forward to contributions.
