Title: Should I take apart my Control Deck?
Post by: iTzTowelie404 on April 22, 2013, 04:27:47 AM
Been putting together Esper Control for a while and it finally is getting there, only a few duals left to complete it.  However, with all the stupid hate cards printed in Dragon's Maze, do you think it would be best to take it apart and build something else?  Don't wanna get stuck with all these control cards when it fails in standard and all the value drops...

You never know until DGM hits..

Honestly I do not think that you should give up on control... Especially not on Esper... We all will see which cards will be played and how we will have to adjust our control decks to survive swarms and hate... But I am quite sure that there will be always way how to make good control...

Did {skullcrack} stop {thragtusk}?
Did {grafdigger's cage} stop {snapcaster mage}?
The list goes on, but the point is that just because the hate is there doesnt mean it is the correct thing for every other deck. Unless the hate cards also serve a viable perpose with the hate is not needed then people wont run it (most the time).
