Title: Argo **** yourself

What are some thoughts on the movie Argo.  Anything that intrigued you or pissed you off, or made you laugh on the inside.

That it was based on a real story, and real events

Yeah it is hard to believe, just finished watching it with the family.  I loved the idea, and the fact that they were able to do all of that, and get everyone back safely.  But that sucks that you can't tell anybody about the fact that you were the person who came up and practically carried out the plan to get those people out.  Receive a huge honor, and award, bbbuuuttt...  You can't tell anybody :(

If you tell anybody, wouldn't that make them feel a little bad inside because they couldn't be as awesome as you? Seems kinda stupid to tell someone, espeacily if it goes to the persons head from all the praise. Then they just turn into a @$$

Well yes that would be terrible, but I would like a little recognition, but not enough that I'm put on a pedistal, and turned into and ass.

I personaly wouldn't tell anyone, because the satisfaction of knowing I saved lives would be enough of a reward

Think about it this way, your gone for 3 months saving 300 lives in the process.  Although, your wife is threatining divorce because you have been gone for 3 months with nobody knowing where you are.

Don't you want to tell her about where you were and what you did to explain what happened so she would stay with you?

I'd find a way to make it up to her

Besides, he told people he was shooting a movie in Afghanistan. He could have just said there wasn't enough of a budget to continue shooting right?
