Title: Unsummon
Post by: Erflowers on April 17, 2013, 05:17:48 PM
So unsummon states return target creature to owners hand. The question arose can a creature in the graveyard be the target of the unsummon? (Sorry if this is posted somewhere already, I couldn't find it)

No. If its in the graveyard, exile zone, hand, or deck, its just a spell. If its on the battlefield, its a creature and thus can be {unsummon}ed.

THANK YOU! Sorry for yelling but it's been three against one for so long, I got overly excited when another voice of sanity was heard.

Also, keep in mind that the card will specify if it targets something in the graveyard, like {Cadaver Imp}.
