Title: Trading Help
Post by: Bozo_Law on April 17, 2013, 01:48:58 PM
I just finished my first transaction on here and my partner seemed very unhappy. What are some tips on keeping cards in good condition?

That's quite easy... I use perfect fit sleeves and then common sleeve to protect cards that I play with... Cards for trading I move from booster directly to binder and do not allow anyone to take it out unless he/she is really interested in trade. Keeping cards in dark, dry environment.

Edit: It is a little easier for me... I have one whole room for storing my collection...:D

Also RELAY THE CONDITION OF THE CARDS in your requests to trade! Nothing is more upsetting than assuming a NM card and getting nothing better than 'playable!' Just be open!

Ship in toploaders to keep the cards in good condition in the mail.

If shipping this is the best way.. Also I use envelopes with bubble wraps inside and tape the top edge of the toploader...;)

Also be aware some places have worse weather than most. Do your best to ensure the card wouldn't become mush if the envelope got a little wet.

I know I've come home to my mail being about as wet as my dog who stays outside during the day.
