Title: GruulGari symmetry
Post by: wvEricP on April 11, 2013, 05:56:31 PM
Anyone seen the new gruul card leaked?

Varolz, the Scar-Striped 1bg
Legendary Creature - Troll Warrior
Each creature card in you graveyard has scavenge. The scavenge cost is equal to its mana cost.
Sacrifice another creature: Regenerate Valroz, the Scar-Striped.

That in a bloodrushing deck could show some amazing symmetry. Being able to scavenge your creatures after rushing them... I can't seem to not like it.

What's the other thoughts?

It could make a fun deck more symmetrical.

Being able to bloodrush then scavenge it again for the same boost. It's a slap in the face, and it's a turn 3 drop. Turn 3 in my bloodrush deck I've got 3 creatures in my graveyard at least.

Yeah I always play my friends at lunch and they keep milling me, that's making my deck stronger by doing that, plus I have  {Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord} which screws them over
