Just recently got into playing standard and I decided I'd try a G/W Aggro. My favorite combo in it so far is {Silverblade Paladin} soulbound with a {Wolfir Silverheart}, both with a rancor. Insane damage!
No doubt G/W aggro is a serious contender in standard I like a deck thats a bit different though. Im playing a Necra(GWB) deck that focuses on life gain using {Trostani, Selesnya's Voice} and {Angelic Skirmisher} with cards like {Conjurer's Closet} and {Armada Wurm} wincon is quite simple ramp into all of this swiftly with {Arbor Elf}s and {Avacyn's Pilgrim}s while fixing for black with 4 {Evolving Wilds} and then use {Vizkopa Guildmage}'s second ability, choose lifelink from skirmisher swing for 14 with your wurms and her then bounce and populate, another 15 so its 30 life gained and life lost by the opponent lol.
