I started watching to show when it first came on and watched every episode till mid second season. The one episode I miss I hear a major spoiler and really just didnt care to watch it any more.
But a couple weeks ago me and some freinds went to a book store just to check it out. They had the walking dead compendium 1 (issues 1-48). After being in there for about ten minutes I decided to buy it. I didn't start reading til early last week. But mainly on my lunch break at work.
I couldn't do that any more so I set it down til last night and read to the middle of. Then I started to read it at 9:40 planned on stopping at 10:30 to 11:00 so I can get some sleep before because I've not been doing that lately. ;)
Now it is 3:00 in the morning because I ended up not putting it down at all and I finish what I have. And I honestly don't know what to say. This story is so beautifully messed up I love it, I want to read the rest of them and the "ending" I'm left at left me laying in bed not knowing what to do.
Read Rise of the Governor and Road to Woodbury when you're done with the Walking Dead. They're both really good.

All right. I have to go and get the rest of them later on which sucks. My mom got me the first issue of the strain and sandman for Christmas that I haven't got to yet. But as soon as I can I'm getting the rest of the walking dead. I liked the show a lot but I love the comics.

Im reading Sandman right now. On volume three. I decided im going to finish it before I start anything else.
The Rise of the Governor and Road to Woodbury are actual novels, so its kind of weird at first because you're used to the Walking Dead universe being in comic form.

My mom has most if not all of the sandman so I'm probably going to start that tonight. But I was talk to my friend about walking dead and they have only watch the show and I've read or heard most big parts of the show so we talked about the differences. Mainly when they found the town and the governor.
Wait until you get to Negan. He's waaayyy worse than the Governor.
Having read the book first, it's almost like I've been tolerating the show; not enjoying it. There are moments I enjoy, but the book is so much better.

Thats under selling Negan. What Negan does in issue 100 makes the Governor look like a Sunday School teacher.
