Lets say you have something like {conjurer a closet} or {roaring primadox} you can stop an upkeep trigger of one of your own creatures right?
Well, the closet only does something during your end step. To answer the question at hand, no. There's no time for you to do anything, unless you can counter a triggered ability.
And here's your ruling:
503. Upkeep Step
503.1. First, any abilities that trigger at the beginning of the upkeep step and any abilities that triggered during the turn's untap step go on the stack. (See rule 603, "Handling Triggered Abilities.")
503.2. Second, the active player gets priority. Players may cast spells and activate abilities.
As you can see, you don't get priority until AFTER the triggers are already placed on the stack.
RESOLVED
Oh. Lol. Well I didn't know the closet triggers at end of turn. Ok thanks
And by the way, I was thinking of cards like {spark elemental}

Well, you can save your elemental on your end step with the closet, but the next end step it will still be sacrificed.

I use it in my {Sedris, the Traitor King} EDH deck to stop my unearthed creatures from being exiled at end of turn. Also consider the card {Sundial of the Infinite} as it can be used for similar shenanigans.
What are some creatures with negitive upkeep effects I can use with the big green guy I mentioned?
I have him, but not the closet

Well, here's the thing. The Primadox won't get rid of any triggers of whatever creature he returns to your hand. Abilities, in general, are independent of their sources. During your upkeep, all triggers will go off (in the order you choose) and whether or not those creatures are still on the battlefield won't do anything to those abilities. They'll have already triggered, and will do what they can to resolve.

i understood it would have to affect the creature, and not the player

Right, I was just making sure I was thorough. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head for the Primadox with upkeep triggers is creatures with Cumulative Upkeep. It could be helpful, provided you don't mind recasting them each turn, but without haste I'm not sure how helpful that will be. The Primadox is best used for ETB effects, but if you can find a way to use him differently, more power to you!

yea. I got him because I want to make bizzare decks with him in it. And was just trying to explore options...maybe with cards that care about the number of cards in your hand? Like {stergmist}
And looting. And cards were you discard as an effect
{Stifle} is your best option for stopping triggered abilities. It's also possible to use instant-speed stack manipulation. For example, {Roaring Primadox}'s trigger goes on the stack, targeting your {whatever}, in response you can {cloudshift} your {whatever}. Cloudshift resolves first, flickers, and becomes a new object. Primadox trigger resolves, fails to fin the old whatever, because it's now the new whatever, and fizzles. So your {Whatever} remains on the battlefield.
Thank you gorzo. Though im still going to tru to find a use for the primadox
