{Somberwald Sage} is a pretty solid mana ramp card for creature-based decks. She makes for a great play on turn turn 2 after an {Arbor Elf} turn 1. Potential Turn 3 7-drop anyone? Yes please!

I like {Wild Beastmaster} but she's too dependent on other cards to pair with her to see competitive play. There are lots of cards to use with her to make her great though, from her best buddy {Champion of Lambholt}, to {Wolfir Silverheart}, to pump spells like {Giant Growth}.
