Now that ral has been spoiled. Any one think of a way to abuse his -7??
My idea was if you already have a tamiyo emblem you can get close to infinite turns if your lucky enough.
All things being equal, your opponent most likely won't let you get the ultimate off. I'm more interested in the first ability. That is just waiting to be abused, especially in modern/extended and EDH.
Well with any amount of extra turns comes extra draw phases which makes for extra extra turns by miracle casting {Temporal Mastery}, and running {Reverberate}/ {Increasing Vengeance}

1st ability is a much better way to untap {Grim Monolith}
I like his second ability, it's a {lightning bolt} on a stick...
I miss {lightning bolt} being standard
1st ability also works well for {R}/{U} goblins with {Krenko, Mob Boss}
That could work wonderfully, then there is ramp, and {Otherworld Atlas}.
