Title: Flashback unexpected results?
Post by: Dblac on April 02, 2013, 10:32:03 AM
What happens if I flash back unexpected results with say a snapcaster Mage?   If I hit a land does unexpected results return to my hand or be exiled?

It'd be Exiled. Part of the keyword ability for Flashback sets up a replacement effect to exile the card when it would leave the stack.

From the Comprehensive Rules:

702.32 "Flashback"....Flashback [cost] means You may cast this card from your graveyard by paying[cost] rather than paying its mana cost and If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack
