I want a black deck. Should I mix my Red deck with it? Or no? And do a mono black? How much should it cost and what theme? Vampires zombies or what! My mono red burn deck took 42nd out of 63 people the day I got it an learned to play at FNM against experienced people. I want to be in the top 20

Go look at Conley woods's mono black control deck, I like that one a lot. Just google Conley woods mono black control

Mono black is probably the cheapest and theme wise all you need is {Crypt Ghast}, {Heartless Summoning}, {Sign in Blood}, {Vampire Nighthawk} and big black creatures of your choice

How would you balance mana In a mixed deck and. What are some cards that get me creature tokens and good cards for ruining my opponents hand

It helps to do some research on your own man. But to answer your question, my mono green fnm has been cheapest price wise, i have made mono black mono white and mono green(the black was really budgeted and still more expensive)

For hand disruption MB {duress} SB {appetite for brains}

If you are running 2 color, as many duals as you can is best {blood crypt} as an example. The only thing to watch out for is diluting the power of {mutilate} with non-swamp dual lands. {mutilate} is a must in black against the heavy aggro in standard at the moment.

What colors? {assemble the legion} is great, {lingering souls} is probably the #1 token card right now, {Gather the Townsfolk} isnt bad, {midnight haunting} is some nice instant speed token gen
