Instead of the peddler combo you could go big by playing {Prime Speaker Zegana} and {Garruk, Primal Hunter}
Is that really as good though? Those cards are both so high costed and peddler has synergy with not only the staticaster but the huntmaster and dracogenius as well...

Yeah peddler is better but prime speaker and garruk is more spicey
Ah I can agree with that. I'll definitely consider it. Anyone have any good sideboard suggestions??
Bump. Updated a bit and now I have a sideboard. Added {pillar of flame} to the mainboard, cause I'll Neeed it against those blitz decks, along with {mizzium mortars} from the sideboard. I've never played this deckk or these colors at FNM before, hell this will be my first time ever even playing a control deckk! But my meta is currently full of Aggro decks (mostly naya) and heavy control decks (mostly esper variations), and I feel as though this is the best way to deal with those archetypes at the moment. Keeping that in mind, I would love any advice cause I'm new to this control business!
Might want to consider playing some {Boros Reckoner}. Good combo with {Nightshade Peddler} because you block with it and then the redirected damage will kill something else. Also not bad if you want to ping your {Boros Reckoner} with your {Izzet Staticaster} do deal damage to your opponent if there aren't any other creatures in play. Just a thought
Yeah I have considered the reckoner, I'm just not sure because he would be a bit difficult to cast with the 3 red I'd have to pay
Could also see synergy with {Nightshade Peddler} and {Thundermaw Hellkite}
Yes^ if I can get ahold of a thundermaw I would definitely toss one or two in the deck
If you can't get thundermaw, try hellrider.
Hellriders effect is different, it does damage to players not creatures so he doesn't have synergy with the peddler :p
Deck performed wonderfully last night. There isn't a bad matchup really, with a great sideboard for Aggro and control there are no worries.
Bump. Had another successful night, going 3-1 for 3rd place only losing to a USA deck that was running {rest in peace} alongside {Misthollow griffin}. Made a few minor changes, any advice is always appreciated!
Took first today. Went 5-0-1.
I really love this deck.
And peddler + staticcaster is rediculous.
It's great one, performs well against any type of deck in standard!
