On steam there is a game called warframe, and after you install it it asks if you want "Windows Firewall" to configure settings on your computer.
Help me because I don't want to screw up the new computer...
Windows firewall hates video games, if you have an anti virus software with its own firewall I recommend turning windows firewall off but if you are using a family computer ask first
Ok would you say that if you have Norton Security, it would be ok to let the game modify the windows firewall. Then Norton Security will be the same as it was.
That's exactaly what I did on my laptop, I run regular scans and havnt had anything malicious for the 3 years I've owned it.
