Title: Boros Reckoner, Arrows of Justice
Post by: Quisequise on March 29, 2013, 01:59:52 PM
Interesting scenario happened today and wanted to ask the community. Today my opponent had 7 life. I attacked with  {Boros Reckoner} and had  {Arrows of Justice} in my hand. Now my thought was to attack for 3 arrow my Reckoner for 4 and end the game. My question is, if I did that would do 7 damage or 4. My belief is only 4, but I figured I would ask.

Thank you very much sir. I'm glad I was right in my original thinking, but it never hurts to double check.

Actually you could have done dealt 7. The rulings on {arrows of justice} state that a creature declared as an attacking creature remains such until the end of combat step which is after the damage step.
