The top 15 cards of the SB are my current iseas for a SB, the other cards are maybeboard
{Predator Ooze}
{gyre sage}?
{Gyre Sage} and {Wolfir Avenger} are awesome cards
Wolfir avenger? Im in board. Gyre sage/predator ooze though? Not nearly as much
{Gyre sage} is like {tarmagoyf}. Same cost for a creature that tends to end up being a 4/5, the only difference is that you have to work to make gyre a 4/5.
Gyre would be a 4/5 i know that much, but the only issue is why would i use him over {experiment one} since i dont really need {gyre sage}s mana? Also are there any subs for {avacyn's pilgrim} that produce green mana? It doesnt have to be a creature, just anything. Otherwise {gyre sage} may still make it in.
The sage helps cast miracles like {revenge of the hunted} which should be included for it's crazy fast win potential.
Would you change somberwald and 2 avacyns for 4 gyre sages?
Yes because it is ramp and aggro where as those two are just ramp

I will try it out, logic seems to fit lol
Thoughts? This is probably my favorite because of the fun of pure beats
Ups
Leaning back toward somberwald sage. The payoff will be there on turn 3 versus turns 4-5 with gyre sage
My friend consistently went
T1 {Arbor Elf}
T2 {Somberwald Sage}
T3 {Vorapede}
T4 {Craterhoof Behemoth}
Man did that get annoying.
Thats the plan lol
Sideboard {Predator Ooze} against {Supreme Verdict} and such.
Good idea
What about green options for big threats? A {Quirion Dryad} just wrecked my day... Is there any way for green to lock down things like that?
{Garruk, Primal Hunter} is really good at refilling your hand or making a beater
If only garruk wasnt so expensive..
{Nightshade Peddler} and {Ulvenwald Tracker} combo really good with undying and {Blessings of Nature} prevents undying. {Lair Delve} is really cool and if you droped {Blessings of Nature} and {Increasing Savagery} for {Ulvenwald Tracker} and {Nightshade Peddler} you would never lose value of a {Lair Delve}. Unless you added {Rancor} which is another sweet mono green card. {Predator Ooze} with {Nightshade Peddler} is really cool
I like how the decks at right now i just have no way of dealing with a 9/9 {quirion dryad}
I also totally forgot about rancor.. Might have to add that right now
Before {rancor} i went 7-2 against: gruul aggro, mono red aggro, UG delver(lost 1-2), simic control(or maybe bant, idr)
I have a week before i start making trades for this deck now(i thought i had 2-3 days but the bank had to screw us over so we cant close on the house till friday ;() so suggestions and playtesting shall continue!! Have not playtested with {rancor} however
Up
Up to 4 {Rancor} and down to probably 2 {Lair Delve} unless its working for u. To deal with a big dryad, like previously mentioned, {Nightshade Peddler} makes a great blocker against huge guys
{Ambush Viper} and {Wasteland Viper} are great creature base removal for green.
I'd also stick a set of {Naturalize} in your sideboard at least to side in against white control decks that play {Oblivion Ring} and {Detention Sphere}

Wally, you consistently give good advice.
+1 to you, sir.
Agreed, thank you for assisting multiple times now. I also +1d you.
Its actually putting some hurt on some quite expensive and competitive decks on cockatrice
I suggest ditching the pilgrims for something like {Aerial Predation} of {tower defense} in case of flyover
First turn ramp is often a game changer in this deck, i have pit fight for my removal in case of a big flyer threat or a {quirion dryad}/ something that theyre just saving and letting brew. {olivia voldaren} is a good example of where {pit fight} does work etc.. I may add 2 {aerial predation} to the SB but i really want to avoid removing {ground seal} when reanimator is a big deal, so im lost since {naturalize} generally serves me as well as {aerial predation} would. I may go 3-3-3 with {naturalize} {pit fight} and {aerial predation}
Meant to send tht as a PM -.- woops
Bump, went less rampy, more midrangey
So glad to see good ol' {Deadbridge Goliath}! :D I love that card!
Hes a tank, im thinking he may be somewhat underrated
Bump for other mono green guy
