It bothers me not one bit that they could push for the same benefits as a married couple, but call it something else (i.e. civil union) but decide instead to insist upon marriage, a word with religious connotation.

The argument of gay people encroaching on the religious institution of marriage makes perfect sense. Especially when you consider that straight atheists such as my fiancé and I have the right to be married.

Morgan Freeman's recent movies have been fantastic, especially the incredibly realistic and not-full-of-mind-numbingly-bad-writing-and-inconsistencies most recent one, Olympus Has Fallen. These movies totally showcase Freeman's talent as an actor.
