What are all the ways an indestructable creature can die? And what is it immune to?
Immunities: lethal damage, wrath effects, destroy effects
Weaknesses: exile, state-based death ({liliana of the dark realms} -3 ability as an example. The creature will still be put into the GY if its toughness is 0 or less)
Infect is another example of stat based change.
Sacrifice effects.
Also returning it to the library or hand will "kill" it for a while.
To sum up everything here:
Immunities: Cannot be killed by "destroy" effects. Dying due to based actions from lethal damage are ignored.
To deal with it: Bounce it, exile it, wither it (or infect), make them sacrifice it, or remove it from the field some other way.
Fun fact: Idestructible isn't actually an ability, and doesn't count toward effects that interact with them. For example, indestructible creatures still get the bonus from {Muraganda Petroglyphs}.

No way. I declare this a lie, like the cake

I think it's true if you look at other effects they say target creature "gains" and indestructible states target creature "is" indestructible

I would not lie to you ;)
It isn't an actual keyword ability; it's simply a trait of cards that have it. I personally think that's full of...poo...but those are the facts.
And actually, and perhaps I should have led with this, it's used as an example in the Comprehensive Rules:
112.11. An effect that sets an object's characteristic, or simply states a quality of that object, is different from an ability granted by an effect. When an object "gains" or "has" an ability, that ability can be removed by another effect. If an effect defines a characteristic of the object ("[permanent] is [characteristic value]"), it's not granting an ability. (See rule 604.3.) Similarly, if an effect states a quality of that object ("[permanent]" is indestructible" or "[creature] is unblockable," for example), it's neither granting an ability nor setting a characteristic. (See rules 700.4 and 700.5.) #
Example: Muraganda Petroglyphs reads, "Creatures with no abilities get +2/+2." A Runeclaw Bear (a creature with no abilities) enchanted by an Aura that says "Enchanted creature has flying" would not get +2/+2. A Runeclaw Bear enchanted by an Aura that says "Enchanted creature is red" or "Enchanted creature is indestructible" would get +2/+2.
Thanks. I'm going to add {predator ooze} to my {R}{G} defender deck, and wanted to know all the in's and out's of indestructable
