I roll 5 on a d6
I'll play you again if you want. Want me to use the same deck or different deck?
Any deck works I don't care
Ok. Same deck with one card tweaked. I rolled a 3.
I am trying to perfect this deck and see how it can work as a standard contender, maybe even tournament quality. Any advice on deck building or playing it would be appreciated afterwards.

Response?
Tapped out and all creatures tapped. GG! My deck is no longer undefeated! ;). Yours is pretty intense. You made me change my slaughter horns for giant growths, just so I could defend against searing spear
Good idea, have you considered {wolfir silverheart} or is he not aggro enough? What about {mugging} or {pillar of flame}? Or {flinthoof boar}? How many {fling} are you running?
I've got four flinthoof boar. I had been running four flings, but draw multiples is rough so I cut it to three. I have I think the silver heart is too slow, my most expensive card is a single mark of mutiny (three more in sideboard).
I want more direct damage but space is tight. I have two searing spears main and two in sideboard. I need any damage to Also be able to go to the head I think, so no mizzium mortars. And I think I need the three damage to deal with vampire knight hawk and boros rekoner. What do you think?
Not sure how to link a deck here, but if you google Tapped Out Ieatfood7 Fling you will find my deck list and my "maybe board" of things I have debated. At the moment, the lands Are the only rare cards
I checked it out, my friend is running bet close to the same deck actually. And you're right, it's a very good, cheap deck
Thanks. I got the list from the Internet, fudged some numbers, cut {Rush of Blood}, switched your vampire noble for the dryad (mostly just for budget reasons, but it helps against reanimated a little too) and switched slaughter horn for giant growth. Not sure any way I can make it better, even with $. You see my maybe list. A lot of good stuff, but mostly too slow or expensive. Strange to think of three mana as too expensive lol
Ash zealot and stranglerroot Geist are perfect, but double red or double gree is hard at this speed. I think I need to make room for more direct damage, but I don't see where
Yeah, {young wolf}?
{brimstone volley}?
I think brimstone volley may cost too much, as I usually end a game with 2-4 lands, and hopefully tap out each turn. It would bring some heavy hitting though.... Maybe cut searing spear for it....not sure what else I can cut.
I like young wolf a lot, and just wonder if he is fast enough. If I don't enchant him he is just one damage a turn, but if I do, then I still lose the enchantment if they kill him. I've debated him, maybe in the sideboard instead of reckless waif, to come in against direct creature kill decks like yours...then again, decks like yours are when I need to be at my fastest
What about {court street denizen}?
{foundry street denizen} my bad
Do you mean the red one? I like him ok, but he is on average going to be a 2/1 and he will be a 1/1 more often than a 3/1. And always 1/1 on defense (though I don't do much of that). I think he is ok, but not as good as just the Druid.
{stonewright}?
Again is the mana problem. He needs new mana every turn. And when I have three lands, I'm not going to have much to spare. He is a cool idea though, since he gives two guys fire breathing it is hard to block effectively. Then when you think you block right to absorbe two fire breathing damage, {Ghor-Clan Rampager} ;)
Yeah and plus he is a good way to never waste mana
True, he is a mana outlet, but on an average turn I have one mana free. I would usually rather have a 2/1 than a sometimes 2/1. You do have me intrigued now though. He is unreliable and mana hungry, but is that sneakiness on the extra damage (him or the soulbond creature) worth it? I don't think so, but maybe.
Possibly side board worthy
If I add rares, a {Legion Loyalist} or three might be good. Haste on him, trample on everyone (for when they have mad skillz and giant growth, but no rancor) is good, and first strike helps against vampire nighthawk, ash zealot, even thranktusk and boros rekoner a little
What opposing deck would I want to sideboard stonwright in against though?
Yes I like the loyalist, idk what deck though
Yeah, I think 2-3 loyalists are ideal. I own one, so I'll toss him in when I build this think.
The biggest question though is what to cut for him or for more direct damage. Nothing in my deck is much better thAn the rest, its just all a little situational.
I can't think of anything in your deck to change. Just don't be afraid to hold back the ash zealot to block. I won one game that I would have lost if you had blocked with the first striker the turn you played him.
Also, once you instant speed killed my guy on your turn; I would have enchanted him the next turn and you could have had 2-1 if you waited
Alright, good advice
:). Wish I could help with your deck, but it is scary. ;).
Haha how so? (;
First strike and instant speed damage are the bane of my deck. I never play a creature with above 2 toughness.
Yeah that's true haha, play again with my other deck?
Sure though we may have to pause the game overnight.
