Title: Phyrexian Ghoul sacrifice?
Post by: bbhc609 on March 26, 2013, 07:54:28 PM
If I have 2 {Phyrexian Ghouls} in play and I sac 1 creature do both Phyrexian Ghouls get the +2/+2?

Only the one would get +2/+2. Each one has its own seperate activated ability. To activate that card's ability, you sac a creature, and power it up. It would be different if it said "Creatures named Phyrexian Ghoul get +2/+2".

When a card refers to itself by name, it generally just means "this card".

No. This is an activated ability of both. If you had one target a creature, then only that one gets it. If you have both target it, then the most recent on the stack resolves and the other has no target and fizzles.

Thank you, I didn't think so but had to make sure it wasn't more amazing with gravecrawler and grave pact.
