Need some help. If anyone has any recommendations as to good creatures that I can use to sac my {Gravecrawler} with. I was thinking {Bloodflow Connoisseur} instead of {Bloodthrone Vampire}. And any recommendations as to sideboard cards.
{Bone Splinters} and {Tragic Slip} are your best removal in a sacrifice deck. I would suggest upping to 4 of each and dropping the others :)
Also I'd swap {Blood Artist} for something else.
Especially as he is really only there to give you life.
I'd rather see something like {Desecration Demon} which has a board presence when he lands and then asks your opponent to do removal on your behalf or force a play against him, leading for a greater problem if they do and you drop grimgrin.
or {Essence Harvest} which just loves seeing creatures 5 and over. Just changes the game so dramatically. (Especially if they have just made your desecration demon bigger or just lost 2 to grimgrin) can also be played with 3's and 4's to keep you in the game if needed in a clinch.
Also not getting out of hand, but lets go the full measure ;)
I'd also swap {Thrull Parasite} for {Black Cat} as he can sometimes deal with problems before you see them, and other times he's another zombie to block with (and allow {Gravecrawler} to be cast again)
And finally, {Zombie Apocalypse} that's your late game changer after they wipe the field and look for respite. Give them no quarter!!
{Beckon Apparition} might be something for the sideboard. (Possibly also handy if you see two grimgrin in your gy and want to play the aforementioned zombie apocalypse)
Love the rest tho. Grimgrin is one of my favorites :)
Ok cool, so get rid of {Thrull Parasite}, and removal should I add 4 {Desecration Demon}? And I was thinking of putting {Blood Artist} in the sideboard when I get the zombie cats. What about the {Bloodflow Connoisseur}? Should I just forget about them and put in the 4 {Desecration Demon}? And I like the idea of e zombie apocalypse?

Of course this is your deck and you should really only make changes you are comfortable with.
For me, I'd put 3 of each removal {Bone Splinters} and {Tragic Slip} in the main and figure out which one you like to see more when playing, then go 4 and 2, (or up to 4 of each if you can make room).
A good play with them would be something like tap {B}{B}, {Bone Splinters} for one, sacing your {Black Cat} removing first troublesome creature, {Tragic Slip} the second one after the first resolves. They discard a card at random and lose two creatures. All for 2 mana (and a creature. It's not bad, especially if you also attacked with the cat and they didn't block it :)
The thing with {Desecration Demon} is that you may never hit with his damage, what's worse is you may not be able to block with him either. If they can continually sac a creature to feed him, then he's gunna be tapped. In saying that, those are not the main reasons you would play him. He keeps the other side in check. He demands a response of some sort, but it's a bonus if they can't.
By demanding an answer for him, you are forcing them to make a play that would normally be reserved for Grimgrin. So make them play it, keep the pressure on. If they sac to him, you can tragic slip something, that's a huge threat in itself, even if you don't have one in hand. He gets bigger and then demands a response next turn.
If they are able to continually subdue him then play {Essence Harvest} before they can find some removal. Even at 6, a life change of 12 is huge.
At a 4 drop position I would suspect that it's possibly better to bump {Sleep} to the sideboard and side it in against a swarm of tokens or a deck that can keep up with all your removal.
The sac engine vampires are a tricky call. I'd probably suggest that you should play with either and again see what works better. Is it worth having it a turn earlier as a two drop, but lose the fact it stays larger at the end of turn?
The two drop will be more agro, and the {Bloodflow Connoisseur} a little more controlly I suspect. See how it plays, sideboard the other. :)
Wow. Please 'scuse the essay. :/
Appreciate it Wally cheers
