Title: Realmwright
Post by: MuggyWuggy on March 26, 2013, 01:01:20 AM
 {Realmwright}

If I summon a realmwright and I choose a swamp as my basic land type, all my lands are swamps + their original kind.

Now if i summon a second realmwright and choose mountain as the basic land; all my lands are now swamps and mountains in addition to their original types correct?

They should all be mountain swamp islands if I am not mistaken.

Absolutely, provided his lands were all originally islands. Are your lands would be swamp-mountains in addition to their other types.

Could you make a {coalition victory} deck built on this priciple in modern?

Sure! The ruling from Gatherer:

9/25/2006 When Coalition Victory resolves, it checks for the five basic land types (Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, Forest) and the five colors (white, blue, black, red, green). If a single land has multiple types and/or a single creature is multiple colors, it will count all those types and/or colors.
