Title: Equipping
Post by: TJKoer on February 18, 2012, 12:23:01 PM
So if I have out {puresteel paladin} with three artifacts and a piece of equipment I have says that I need to sacrifice something to equip it. Is the cost 0 mana or do I still sacrifice the something to equip.

It will have both equip - 0 and equip - sacrifice. You can choose which to use

So something like {demonmail halberk} Which requires a creature to be sacrificed before it can be equipped. Is that the type of equipment your talking about

The demon mail is a good example. It would still have the ability equip-sacrifice a creature, but it would also have equip-0. You are able to choose between them

Does {puresteel paladin} also negate the cost of {nim deathmantle} bringing things that recently died back to the battlefield?

That's not a cost, it's a triggered ability. In other words, it has no connection to the paladin's cost reduction.

No it would just add another line saying
Equip 0

That way you can equip it to something else on the battlefield for that cost. Rather than paying the 'Equip 4'
