So today after school I go to a club where we play magic, like I do every Monday. However the club leader was playing with a set based around a new creature type he calls "maniquines". Now imagine all artifact slivers with other tribal types that help slivers. This was was kids new concept. An example of maniquine card:
Blade Maniquine 4 cmc
Artifact creature- maniquine
First strike 3/2
Not broken right? Right, however he also added some legendary creature
(forget the name) 2 W/B (4cmc)
Creature- Human Pupeteer
Whenever a maniquine you control dies gain control of target creature
2/3
What he was doing was insanely broken, sacrificing maniquine tokens and gaining control of creatures indefinitely. Also one more thing
(forget the name) 3 cmc
Artifact- equipment
Creature gets +3+3 whenever creature killed by equipped creature dies exile that creauture
Equipped creature gains all static abilities of the creature that died by equip creature.
Equip cost 1
1 freaking mana for equip cost for that equipment! And he complains about my swords deck! I want to hear thoughts of these two cards that he played in his new set.
Come in with a deck of 60 cards(all with different names) that are cast for 0 mana and say "win the game" and nothing else. Play him with your set. Laugh when you win EVERY SINGLE GAME. Make them instant speed so you can stack all 7 you draw...
I wish I had the time, I'd like to hear what you think about these two cards though because my jaw dropped.
Theyre incredible, which is why i think you need a 60 card deck that always wins to show him how insane hes being. If that equipment existed magic would instantly implode... Thats just too much for 1 mana, MaRo would cry

Block {Geist of Saint Traft} with {Vampire Nighthawk} with his equipment, get Geist of Saint Nighthawk

KAPOOOOWW BOOOM BLAM
*sound of my mind exploding from the very suggestion of such a creature* Im afraid. Very afraid.
I wonder if I'd even run that equipment in Legacy...I might just keep {Umezawa's Jitte}, because I'm rarely trading any creatures.

The +3/+3 is, the ability not so much. It requires you at very least trade for something, or your opponent is chump blocking.
The cost is very low, +3/+3 with no other abilities, at that cost, is still very good.

That's not the only ability though... Let me say it like this, equip {Thragtusk} they block with {Boros Reckoner}, {Thragtusk} becomes Thragreckoner and {Boros Reckoner} is exiled
Odric? {odric, master tactician}? Ya, hed be nice with that equipment.

Yeah I know. The copy ability isn't as broken if it didnt have the +3/+3 is my point. Otherwise it would just trade with someone's best creature, or chump with something stupid.
I'd still rock the {Umezawa's Jitte} methinks.
