Title: Splashing help
Post by: Trunksthemighty on March 19, 2013, 09:52:29 PM
What's the best way to splash a third color into a deck? I want to add a few low drop red cards to my Selesnya deck, but don't want to run into mana issues. More specifically I want to add  {Madcap Skills} and  {Boros Charm} to my Selesnya human deck

Post your deck list, we could probably tell you exactly what to add.
But for starters. Say, for example, you're running a pure half n' half. As in the amount of coloured mana symbols totalled up in the deck, are even between the colors. Everything is basically even. In this example say you want to add 4 {vexing devil}s. take out two forest and two plains, replace with two red/white duels and two red/green duels. That shoul be good enough.

That's just for general basics and a good starting point I'd say. There are so many variables though
