I was just in my local Walmart and bought some boosters of RtR and Gatecrash. When I got home and checked my receipt, I noticed that the packs were all only $3.48 each. So basically, while not a super deal, it's getting one free pack for every 8.
Just thought if pass that on as it seems Mtg boosters are never on sale.

We have that, except they're cheaper than that. The thing is, those packs might have less cards, they don't even guarantee a rare.
I've never gotten less than the standard number of cards w rares and uncommons from regular walmart packs. Same as when i biy booster boxes. Thesr are the kind they have hanging individually. Sealed and all.
Maybe you are thinking of prepackaged or opened packs? Talking about brand new packs here

There is another place called "The Realm" in Brea, CA that sells em for 3 /10 as well.
Judging by the math, it looks like they only make from 17 to 25 dollars per box. The margins seem pretty slim.
My lgs does 3 for 10 or 7-8 for 20.
(You get 8 depending on how drunk they are when you buy the packs...)
I got 2 booster value packs that have 3 boosters for $10 plus {Angel of Glory's Rise}

You're talking about the 6 card boosters for $2. I never buy those.

I'm afraid to buy any packs ever again. I think I use up all my luck last night on those four lol
