Since my LGS decided to switch to Modern for 50% of the FNM's i've decided to build a modern deck. My collection stops at the mirrodin block and picks up at M12, with the bulk of my new stuff from RTR and Gatecrash so I missed out on most of the meat and potatoes of Modern. Looking for a budget build to start out with i found sould sisters to be inexpensive(I have the Serra Ascendants) and fairly competitve. Have any of you ran the soul sister build or a variant of it? I'll take all ideas and suggestions. I will post a decklist when i come up with an idea for one. Another question i have is the viability of running coat of arms in the build?
I have a sweet Decklist which utilizes {Norin the Wary} to win. I will bump it in this subforum so you can take a look!

No problem. I am considering adding {Immortal Servitude} as well. That card late game normally puts things so far out of reach because almost every card has 1 CMC, you cast it with x = 1 and stack all the triggers right and you've almost guaranteed a win. My variant is not the most aggressive, but does better than most post soul sister decks post board. My board shuts down combo, affinity, and the {Mana Tithes} and {Thalia, Guardian of Thraben} turn our deck into a more tempo kin of deck.
You can look at martyr-proc as a modern deck as well . They both use the same mechanic
