Mutilate seems awful in the sb with interaction to aristocrat.

I take out aristocrats and artists for it, I usually only need it against token and faster Aggro decks which then I sideboard and turn this into vampire tempo deck.

Splashed in white. Not much, enough for sorin, vault, and boros charm.

I love this build, you've inspired me to dig into my vamps deck again!

Yea it used to be hard to run with three color before gatecrash; but now I rarely have mana issues. Plus boros charm is a house.

I would take out the blood hall for another white source... 3 is a bit low

I was debating that, because with boros charm, I can push damage I couldn't before.

Might take this to a tournament soon.

Thoughts?

It looks like you don't have enough black cards to make {vampire nocturnus} very effective, I'd swap it for something like {rakdos charm} in the event of fighting reanimator

Agreed there, changed up the SB and added {searing spear} to main board for some instant speed removal.

 {Blood Artist} is a vampire you know.....

Blood artist has to be in here. It makes trading your vampire token chump blockers or sacrifices so much more worth it!

I had blood artist but he didn't do anything, sure he can be something. But most games all he did was end up being a chump blocker that gained me 1-2 life or he was just a dead card in hand.

You definitely want to play  {Bloodthrone Vampire} this way when you play  {Blood Artist} you have a sac outlet and you can proactively use  {Blood Artist} effect instead of just hoping something dies.

I don't really see why I need a sac outlet. Maybe I'm missing something.

You use a sac outlet to trigger  {Blood Artist} ability. Like I said by having that sac outlet. Not only are you pumping up one of your creatures for an attack or for a block but your proactively using your  {Blood Artist} trigger. A mini combo if you will

I understand that but I don't understand why I need it in this deck perse.

You have  {Sorin, Lord of Innistrad} to make tokens every turn so you have something to sac every turn. Also it's a quick and easy way to get your  {Tragic Slip} to give -13/-13 instead of -1/-1. Just a thought. You were looking for some ideas so that was just one I had

Right. But sorins tokens are mainly for my bloodline keeper, or I just go for emblems so I can push harder with my captains and first strike.
