If I have {Growing Ramks} out and no tokens out what happens. My son thinks the enchantment goes to the graveyard, I think that nothing happens, the enchantment stays.
A trigger goes on the stack that says populate. Your opponent gets to respond if they choose. Then you attempt to populate, if you cant then move on. No need to sac anything.
