So me and my friends say that if he's a 1/1 and hits the oponent then the oponent takes 3 damage cuz of double strike would this be right
Some other people don't agree with us
EDIT! Didnt link thecard so i assumed it was just a 1/1! Yes he would deal 3 damage! 1 first strike damage, then his ability adds a counter (2/2 markov). Regular combat damage as a 2/2.
1+2=3. Then he gains an additional counter, finishing the attack as a 3/3
{markov blademaster}
It deals combat damage twice: once during the first combat damage step and once during the second combat damage step.
If your Markov Blademaster is 1/1 and is unblocked, it deals 1 first strike damage to the opponent. The ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Markov Blademaster. Then it deals normal combat damage. Since it's now a 2/2, it deals 2 more damage. Then the ability triggers and puts another +1/+1 counter on Markov Blademaster.
Edit: Today is not my day. People keep beating me to the punch :P
RESOLVED
Way to just make what i said sound more official... But this is a kind of interesting deck idea, thanks
Am i too late to answer? It deals 3!
3 damage. It deals 3 damage.
And the number of points of damage dealt shall be 3. Not 4, not 2... 3.
It'll deal 3 pts. Then next turn 7. Then 11, which could be lethal.

End of thread, guys. 😉
On the bright side, I think everyone on iMtG knows how Markov Blademaster works.
If only explaining all cards was so thorough.
Wait, does it deal 3?

No no no. Gotta go old school. ;-)
Does it stack?
I don't always use {Markov Blademaster}. But when I do, I try to have my {Rakish Heir} or {Necropolis Regent} on the board.
I always loved the synergy between this card and {curse of stalked prey}
{Markov blademaster} this?
It would get one +1/+1 counter so 3 damage, then it gets another counter, but still only 3 damage.
No with the curse the first strike would do one the second would do three for a total of four and you would have a five five at the end of it
