Post by: Bozo_Law on March 10, 2013, 09:31:05 PM

Use a mod as an in between. Thats probably your only way to get started in trading if your parents feel sketched out

Get a PO box. They're fairly inexpensive.

Post office box. You can rent one from the post office and have mail sent to it. You give people your PO box number instead of your home address. It's a pain because you have to go to the post office to check it but it may ease your parent's minds.

Why?  "Nerdy" people are usually more trustworthy than a lot of people, in my experience.

Raised by "popular" people. I'm a first in a long line.

Ok, I see.  Maybe just make a couple trades here and there with highly trusted traders to build trust first, then start trading more often?

Exactly some of the suggestions above. Trade with highly trusted traders to start.

Also if you're nervous about a trade use the middle man service to minimize possible loss. Should really minimize all potential loss just can't say that for obvious reasons.
