Notes: Revised edition from my last post. Still need to find a Replacement for the vexing devils. I'd like to play this deck in a standard invitational next week so any more help you guys have would be much appreciated :). Note: this is not the sideboard I intend to use, just cards I have been shuffling in an out of the deck.

Also, I have been thinking about throwing some {Thatcher Revolt} in, as a trigger for my hell rider or to sac to my aristocrat. Good or bad?
Why replace vexing devils?
Their consistency bothers me, at times they are a huge help but other times they seem to be a wasted slot in my hand that could have been filled with something more useful! But again, in still not sure cause they have come in so handy at times( mostly when drawn in multiples).
I always love drawingthem
I know it might sound weird but I always loved {Vampire Interloper} in my vampire deck simple because if I paired it with captain it was a 3/2 with flying and first strike. Though it does have a big drawback to it.
@potticus...exactly! It gives your opponent to much control over how effective your move is, when that could be avoided entirely. It's unfortunate, because it really seems like such a great card!
@joshnoodles...vampire interloper is a great aggro camp card, but i don't feel like it would improve the flow of my deck. 1B for a flyer that can't block when I have such apt vamp flyers( nighthawk and aristocrat) that pair even better with the knight!
Modified once again, headed to that invitational tomorrow! I've been play testing this against several buddies decks ( GW human aggro, BG zombies, American control, grixis control), and this is what's played the best for me.
Good Luck, and thanks for posting, I may have to try this one out myself... :D👹
Should drop a land to find room for one {stensia blood hall} just for late game when you can't draw and 2 damage can win the game or not.
Also, possibly drop the devils for {vampire nighthawk} cause flying lifelink and deathtouch? And then with captain, first strike?
My vampire deck runs amazingly well if you would like me to post it, usually tops 8 with little problems at my former lcgs
I was running a tribal vamps deck with a full set of both captains and nighthawks, but the nighthawks were slowing my deck down, which is unfortunately cause .poo., first strike deathtouch Lifelink AND flying, is just plain awesome.
And I was planning on grabbing 2 blood halls but the 25 dollar entry left those out of my budget :(
Maybe run {legion loyalist} instead of vexing devil and you could run nighthawk instead of horror, possibly.
And I'd also get rid of the dead weight, being a sorcery makes it, really useless.
{searing spear} {skullcrack} any instant speed would be better
