Title: Paper for digital?
Post by: Raiderrob on March 08, 2013, 02:45:41 PM
I just got into mtgo and I would be willing to trade some paper cards for digital. I dont get to play enough paper magic and I don't want to catch any more flack at home for my "silly" hobby. I would prefer dealing with trusted traders but anyone is free to hit me up with card or ticket offers.

I find mtgo is a waste of money just because once you drain money in (unless you chase down full sets and redem them) its gone... Atleast with the paper form you've got something you can sell to make some cash back

Yeah I'm not looking to put a ton into it, but I rarely get to make it to Fnm and I only have few people I can play with occasionally I really don't get to play as much magic as I would like to.

Does cockatrice still work?  There was that whole thing with them possibly being shut down.  I haven't gotten on there in a while, so I really don't know :P

I'm interested in an answer to this as well, I miss playtesting whenever I wanted to!

When you click 'Connect' it brings you to a login page. At the top there is a box that has something like 'play.cockatrice.ge'

Retype this box as 'play.woogerworks.com' excluding the '. Basically just backspace over cockatrice and change it to '.com' and youll be on the new 'cockatrice' server. Yes you can still playtest

I tried cockatrice but I ran into to many jerks that couldn't handle me being slow even though I explained I was new.

I'm just trying to build my collection. I'm mainly going to play standard but I would be open to anything that might be tradeable. Let me know if I have anything you need.

There a few sites that'll buy your cards and give you ticks.
