I want to make a 40$ commander deck and be able to buy it on tcg player for 40-60.
Can you give me some ideas for the commander.

Honestly your best best is probably to check out the premade boxes for a budget that slim. Devour for Power, Mirror Mastery, and Political Puppets can probably still be found for $40 each, and include fully playable decks. They each need some tweaking to be "good" but they are a great start, and can easily be beefed up with some 50-cent rares to be solid decks.
If you'd rather build your own, it won't be easy for $40. You will likely need to be mono colored with mostly basic lands to cut costs, and a lack of big impact cards will put you at a disadvantage. However, green has a lot of 8/8s and mana ramp, all cheap, so you could probably piece together a super budget mono green deck.

Budget is hard. Cause even if you aren't using expensive cards, you need 100 of them. Not counting basic lands, about 66 cards. I don't have to do the math, but including your commander - every card has to be under $1.
Best bet is to save your money and build slowly, or get one of the new pre-cons when they come out sometime this year.

Hey do you have any info on the new decks??
No info has been released yet as far as I'm aware. We will probably start getting some info in the summer, after the release of modern masters.
