Title: Firemane avenger
Post by: Neids on March 04, 2013, 05:52:50 PM
If my opponent has 9 life points and I play  {Foundry Champion} having 8 creatures on the battlefield he loses 8 life putting him down to 1 lifepoint then I attack with  {Firemane Avenger} and others for his battalion ability and my opponent plays  {Fog} does my opponent lose the game if I put  {Firemane Avenger} 3 damage to my opponent? Or does {Fog} prevent the damage from  {Foundry Champion} and  {Firemane Avenger}?

{Fog} only prevents combat damage.  The non-combat damage from the champion and avenger still happen.  You won!

Fog says combat damage. He would need a {safe passage} to save himself from all that effect damage.

That's what I thought, just clarifying that the damage done was not "Combat Damage"
