If I have a {Horror of the Dim} and my opponent puts {Pacifism} on it when it's my turn I pay it's cost to may it hexproof does the enchantment fall off or does it make it void for that turn?
Nothing will happen. Hexproof prevents it from being targeted, and auras only target while they're on the stack. Once it's on there, I'm afraid your monster is pacified.

Darn lol.ok I have a {Agoraphobia} on one of her creatures if that creature is dealt a death blow I can pay the cost and return it to my hand correct?
But if it is targeted by a spell to put it into the graveyard that goes on the stack I can use its ability correct?
Whaaat? I thought playing {vines of vastwood} was a valid play to prevent a {doom blade} or something similar? Is that different?
Yeah I think that is valid because its not combat damage. It's an instant versus an instant

This would be fine. In this case, you're giving the creature hexproof before the effect resolves, making the creature an illegal target for the doom blade. In the original question, the enchantment was already on the creature, so hexproof couldn't help it.
Ohhh i read it wrong.. If he paid the cost when {pacifism} were onthe stack he would be protected though right? I thought that was the question.

That would be right. Instant speed hexproof will protect against anything that targets, as long as you use it at the right time.
