I should probably know the answer to this, but lets say someone pops a {Diabolic Revelation} for like 7. I respond with {Aven Mindcensor}, do they only draw the top 4? Or do they look at the top 4, pull 1, then look at the previous 3 + 1?
I think they just look at the top 4 and pick the x amount from among them. I don't understand the confusion. {aven mindcensor} states all search effects allow the searching of the top 4 cards, so the {diabolic revelation} would only apply to the top 4 cards.
They would have to get any of their cards from the top 4. No other cards in the library can be searched due to the Mindcrusher. If they are allowed to tutor for 10 cards, they have to get their "10" from the top 4.
