So, I took my deck (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?topic=17945.0) to Gameday this past weekend. The only deck I lost to was a janky deck that I didn't have a sideboard answer for. R1 was a win against Reanimater, lost R2 to janky deck, won R3 against a Naya Humans. R4 was really interesting. He played a deck quite similar to mine, but more control. He won G1 cause he was able to lock me down with 3 {Sphere of Safety}s three turns in a row. I scooped, cause at that point he had 7 enchantments, and I'd have needed 21 mana to attack, and I had no answer. So, G2 I sideboarded in my {Detention Sphere}s and {Oblivion Ring}s. I took out the {Forced Adaptation} and {Blind Obedience}. G2 I won as I was able to turn 2 {Geist of Saint Traft}, turn 3 {Silverblade Paladin}. He scooped shortly after.
G3 is where it got fun. I turn 2 cast {Silverblade Paladin}. Pass turn, he casts {Oblivion Ring} on him. Turn 3 I cast another {Silverblade Paladin}. I had a {Detention Sphere} in my hand and prayed he would{Oblivion Ring} the second {Silverblade Paladin}. Pass turn, and he did just as I wanted. Turn 4, I {Detention Sphere}'d his {Oblivion Ring}s bringing both {Silverblade Paladin}s back and bonding them. Pass turn, he{Detention Sphere}'d my {Silverblade Paladin}'s. Turn 5, I top deck an {Oblivion Ring}, so I targeted his {Detention Sphere}, bring my {Silverblade Paladin}'s back and screamed "YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM!" Got a great laugh out of the groups around us watching the exchange. I went on to win the match, only to lose in the first round of top 8 against the same Jank Deck that beat me before.
