My theme for this deck is to use things like {essence harvest} to deal big damage with the cheap 4 CMC 6/6 creatures, i dont realy know how to tie it together though
Woah, I like this. {Dying Wish} + {Alms Beast} + {Killing Wave} is pretty sweet. Its a pretty fun looking deck idea. Although, I'm a little confused about the {Sublime Archangel}. I just don't really see her doing a whole lot.
Attack with {alms beast} for +2-4 at least then sac to {cartel aristocrat} with {dying wish} for more damage/life.. All before they can get te benefit of the life gain. Also i happen to have one so i threw it in there xD

Why thank you! Any suggestions on how to balance the deck? I want some recursion and a significant amount of kill cards otherwise the deck wont work
I'd honestly say say
-1 {Holy Mantle}
-3 {Smite}
+2 {Demonlord of Ashmouth}
+1 {Sublime Archangel}
+1 {Killing Wave}
Im scared of adding more demonlord because i dont have a lot of thinks to sac unless i have {dying wish} on it already
And the holy mantle is to push through a few extra points of damage because none of my big creatures are likely going to be attacking, but thats just my view
Sublime archangel with dying wish, attack then killing wave for 0, sac the angel, bring back with faith's reward for 5 life and 10 damage woot
Ok so it is fairly slow on cockatrice.. How can i either speed it up, or add more control while still keeping the theme

I would take out all 3 pacifisms and add another demonlord
The deck is much too slow to not have some control, nothing happens until turn 4, assuming i hit 4 straight land drops... Thats the main problem, my deck is slow as crap.
Maybe remove some control for the souls..? 3-4 copies?
