So yea I just went to my lgs under the total assumption that the magic gameday was today. Go into the back and it's empty so I went out front and asked about it and they tell me " no sorry we aren't doing the magic gameday because we scheduled a miniatures event today. We made an announcement last night during FNM."
I was there last night playing! Never heard a single announcement from anyone about it at all. I even watched the owner walk in talk to the judge and then just leave and he's the one telling me he made the announcement. I'm so pissed right now.
Mine is doing a Pokemon tournament instead of MGD. Im upset because its the ONLY Saturday I have off and they aren't doing it.
What's worse is the fact that his "miniatures day" was supposed to start at 11 today I showed up at 11:20ish and there was still no one there for it

No he said he's got the promos for it and everything else he said that he might run it another day very very soon but my lgs owner isn't very reliable on that stuff... To many brain surgerys

Lol not at my lgs that is literally there biggest seller they are also the largest shop in Delaware. So this was just the owner stupid move
There's only one shop in my city that does stuff like that. I found out yesterday that there's a shop 100 miles from where I live that gave away a case to the winner. It would've been worth the drive had i known that was the prize.
One of my LGS did two days of game day. The firemane avenger promo looks sick as hell and the winner got $250 store credit. Nice!
