Is this a valid play style? I'm sure it is, but I figure talking to like-minded individuals is a good way to sort it out.

My mates and I want to run our EDH decks together in a 3v3 game. I'm worried it might be an illegal play style. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

If its not a sanctioned event you guys can do what ever you want

I figured as much. We just like to keep things as close to legality as possible while also being flexible.
