Title: Gideon, Champion of Justice
Post by: Danielkix on February 21, 2013, 10:19:07 PM
I pulled a {Gideon, champion of justice} today. When I use his 0 ability can I put a {rancor} on him as a creature then when the turn is over would it go back to my hand?

If playing w/g it's fun to toss in an  {Intrepid Hero} and toss the  {Rancor} on their creature to kill it. The look on your opponents face is usually priceless the first time you do it. They don't expect it and you get your enchantment back.

If your opponent chooses to attack Gideon as a planeswalker can you then use his 0 ability? What would happen to the battle damage?

Planeswalker abilities can only be used on your turn, at any time you could play a sorcery. You can't use it during your opponent's turn.
Unless I'm misunderstanding the question?

Thank you that answered my question actually. I was referring to on their turn when they declare attackers.
