Title: Angel of Glory's Rise Combo; Skullcrack, Rakdos Charm
Post by: Trunksthemighty on February 21, 2013, 05:05:30 PM
Okay this is kind of lengthy. So the combo I faced is a  {Cartel Aristocrat} on the field. They then cast  {Angel of Glory's Rise} which brings out  {Huntmaster of the Fells} and  {Fiend Hunter} from the graveyard. They exile the angel with fiend hunter. They then sac huntmaster and then sac fiend hunter. This brings the angel back thus restarting the whole process eventually gaining practically infinity life and wolf tokens. My question is: if they say I repeat this a billion times, could I in response use  {Skullcrack} to stop all life gain, then after it all resolves use  {Rakdos Charm} to win?

I'm just going to try to answer this one. The way this combo pans out, it's not like the life gain is going to all be on the stack. They can simply let it run through once and then the stack is cleared and they start it up again. Most of the life gain has already happened so it won't be removed by Skullcrack. Also, in response to your response they could simply repeat the combo again, making your effort wasted anyways.

You could cast the charm while the angel is on the stack and that would stop the combo

To clear thing up, do you want the rakdos charm to do damage to your opponent for all the wolf tokens they'll produce?

Ah I kind of figured. I run tokens so ill just run  {Beckon Apparition} and make it simple :)
