The nice thing about this type if deck is the mana curve is usually pretty low, but 18 lands? Has that proven to be enough for you, for this deck to be consistent?

Would {Show and tell} work well here, along with {Intuition}?  Maybe also {Breakthrough}.

In regards to creatures, what about {Ionia, Shield of Emeria} and {Avacyn, Angel of Hope}?

Is there enough ways to get creatures in the graveyard? With only a way to filter cards and entomb (8 total) I think you should add more Faithless looting efects.

I don't want to play against this deck.

It's been pretty consistent thus far but it probably could be bumped up to 20. There's a first for everything.

{Show and tell} and {intuition} are too costly in my opinion. I do like like {breakthrough} though.

I had {Avacyn, angel of hope} in here but opted for {elesh norn, grand cenobite}. Iona would pretty fun.

With {griselbrand} and {jin-Gitaxias, core augur} both giving me seven cards per turn, getting cards into the GY is no problem. {Buried alive} is in the sideboard for when the deck is running too slow but its a little too costly.

Hmm would {Exhume} be better than necromancer here?  Or maybe even animate dead?

Also, maybe 1 or 2 {Sickening Dreams}

I like {sickening dreams}. My problem with {exhume} is they also get a creature out. I may drop the mancers for two more lands and maybe a one of {exhume}.

I was thinking, would {Dark Ritual}, {Lotus Petal} or even {Mox Diamond} work here?

It would allow you to play your graveyard dumper and reanimation choice by turn 1.

Petals and Rits have a spot in almost every black deck. The thing is, with this deck they would work, but you would have to include then at the cost of hand disruption because the only other option would be to replace the graveyard cards which defeats the purpose of the deck. If I had to choose between getting a threat out one or two turns early while running the risk of leaving then unprotected due to a lack of hand disruption, well, that's an easy choice. Go with hand disruption over fast mana, any day. Now if this was a suicide/reanimate type deck I'd say go with fast mana because who cares about hand disruption when your looking to swarm and overwhelm quickly.

Yeah there's not much room for adding anything really. Maybe replace the necromancers. I use those for late game or as an alternative to {reanimate} if I don't gain life back from a previously cast reanimate or {griselbrand}.

I understand the Necromancers are good, cheap, ways to get a creature in play late game....but there has got to be better creature options to include in the deck that are worth being pulled out of the graveyard.

I see {blazing archon} is used a lot in these decks. I may try him out. Maybe one of those and up the land count by two.

You make a valid point.  I will have to keep this in mind when I construct a deck.

I think you could, if you absolutely wanted to, work in a play set of one or the other in there. Either four Rits or four petals, but not both. If you are dead set, I would go with the Rits. They can be first turn BOMBS a lot more often then just dropping a petal.

I use rits and often get a turn 1 3 CMC spell that drags two creatures to my gy(name?) and then turn 2 have one of them on the field, no questions asked.

{Buried alive}? Im torn between the rits now. I have a playset that I could add along with {buried alive}. This has gotten be thinking.

Took out some things for {buried alive} and {dark ritual}, upped the land count, added {blazing archon}. Going to start testing it out this evening.

I really like the {Dark Depths} + {Vampire Hexmage} combo. I might try that in the build too.

Another ive seen is {Emrakul, the Aeons Torn} + {Goryo's Vengeance}, which is pretty mean.

{Goryo's Vengeance} is stupid powerful. You can use it on  {Griselbrand} too... And it's instant speed... Yeah.

I might pick a few up anyways. I just want to feel what its like to play a T2 (T1 possibly even) Emrakul.

Thinking on  {Goryo's Vengeance}, keep in mind you can instant speed bring in a  {Griselbrand} as a lifelinking blocker to gain 7 life or draw 7 cards. So good.

Reanimator in Legacy is really just based around {Show and Tell}, landing {Omniscience} the backing all of that up with {Force of Will}.

Another creature I've seen lists run is {Hapless Researcher}As another draw and discard spell.

I run  {Tidespout Tyrant} in my creature suite and with petals he gets insane. You need to  watch out playing so many legendAry creatures as the 1  {Karakas} can hose you.

I'll look at your list again and comment further.
