Not much info on it yet other than the release date is 8/23 and it'll have 20 cards rather than the normal 15. Im excited to see what they'll have.

I imagine SCG will have preorders pretty soon. I, personally, have no idea of anywhere that you can preorder currently. But I also haven't gone searching for anywhere.

If I can snag it for $40 I certainly will, it sounds quite exciting! Any idea what card the new art featured on that page is? {Mother of runes} maybe? That would make me happy.

Finally, foil and new art for: {Wood Elemental}, {Scavenging Scarab}, {Aven Trooper}, {Pale Moon}, {Sorrow's Path}, {Mudhole}, {Fatal Mutation}, {Shelkin Brownie}, {Tombfire}, {Shaman's Trance}, {North Star} and probably a {Force of Will} to make people buy the set (and EDH players too)

I hate when people mention the {Shelkin Brownie}. The art makes me laugh at first, then I realize how creepy that guy is :P

Well lets look at it this way. {Force of Will} is not on the reserve list, it can be freely printed. Mark Rosewater (lead designer for Wizards of the Coast) has stated that Force of Will could be reprinted if it were in the right product. The price has been increasing every single day, with no end in sight. What is more of a perfect time to get another print run for {Force of Will}?
It's all guessing anyway. I was nearly certain that {Mutavault} would be in FTV: Realms before they laid that stinker on everyone (still $60 on eBay?) if they intend to make a genuine product for fans of Magic, and a card that has seen as much tournament play as basic lands, anything less then a {Force of Will} is unacceptable as far as I'm concerned.
It totally makes sense that {force of will} would be one. That would be awesome. Help slim modern's silly banned list down.

I know its not on the reserve list and I understand the prevalence of FOW. I own 4. I use 4. I dont think it warrants a reprint and I wouldnt find it unacceptable. I am not on the side of the fence that wants all of the classic cards reprinted. To me its a card that has defined the game but its not a card that you need to win these days and should keep its place in history and stay there.
I agree it looks like mom of runes.

{Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle}? Maybe? Doubt it though. They just did FTV: Realms, and likely won't do more lands. The previous 2 premium sets (FTV Realms and Commanders Arsenal) have been relatively disappointing.
Maybe {City of Brass}, but I dont think so, because I'm pretty sure thats going to be reprinted in Modern Masters.

I see the individual in the picture as having a lot of focus, I just don't see it being a {counterspell} or {force of will}. It certainly looks like it could be {Mother of Runes}. I believe that they would use something a bit more iconic for {Force of Will} I that were the case.

Books in the background, older woman, I'd almost bet money that its art for {Mother of Runes}.
Mother of runes makes sense from a card standpoint but its kind of a weird picture for the card if it is it.
Hopefully I can preorder one or two of these; and my lgs doesn't jack up the price... Gatecrash fat packs $45?!'
