What happens at eot if you equipped a  {Blinkmoth Nexus} with a {Cranial Plating}?

It gets +2/+0 then it falls of when blinkmoth stops being a creature.

I thought enchantments would stay. Because you can cypher the keyrune and it'll stay

That's not enchanted.  That's "encoded".

This. While they have a similar effect, enchanting and ecoding behave differently. Auras with "Enchant Creature" constantly check the state of its "target." If at any point, the thing it's enchanting is no longer a creature, the state-based checks will see that it is no longer a valid target for "enchant creature" and the aura will be moved to the graveyard for having an invalid target.

Cipher and encode, on the other hand, only check for target validation once - at the time of attachment. It's a bit wonky, but that's just how it was designed.
