Also, I am thinking of adding an {angelic destiny} and 2-3 {runechanter's pike}s since I will be casting so many sorceries. I think I might have to move the {hero of bladehold}s to the sideboard.

Also, is there room for a possible {suture priest}/{chalice of life} combo or is that trying to make things too complicated?

Holy crap! î‰ That card is horrible!
But I guess when compared with that jank Chalice looks pretty sexy.
If he could pull a Chalice after he is able to life gain ton from a {Suture Priest}, then it works. But that's a big if, otherwise, well that's been explained, bad Talisman, extremely good Fountain î•

I don't know about it's strength and playability, but it does give life gain decks a win-con. And it's decent in Multiplayer where life totals can get absurd.

Multiplayer/EDH(Commanderî‡)/Life Gain, in all of those places Chalice does have a home, I really like the card, in fact I've been helping a buddy make a Standard legal life gain deck with Chalice as the headliner. It just does not have a good home here.
