For the deckbuikding scene there are a few things that I would like to see added in addition to the already great format.
This may sound crazy, but one big system maybe integrated into the multiverse to show decks. Users could post their entire collection of decks, much like the trade binder, which is awesome, and choose which and which don't get posted, instead of one-by-one.
-The ability of looking up a user's decks by their name.
-Deck tags to determine what to look for and to discriminate behind ideas of the deck, instead of seeing someone's deck overlooking that it is pure jank, they could tell it is instead a casual deck, and isn't really looking for suggestions. Some more deck tags could be the different formats, Competitive, casual, archetypes like combo, aggro, etc, budget, and themed
-In this new system users could vote on a users deck by giving it a star rating
- users could post a decks standings from competition to competition
-developed net decks would have their own section in which users could discuss their own builds and what cards are necessary and optional
-Users could sort the decks by star rating, discussion, colors and tags, much like the card sorting system works.
-Now this would also be a fairly big addition, but articles from the community, while it is cool to read pro articles, it's also nice to get some personalized articles from people you can relate to
-A payed addition to the app which adds drafting, sealed, and also just pack opening, because even though we aren't getting the cards, it's always fun to see what you would get :P
-With the whole article idea, players could have an established draft the same 3 packs for all of the community and players could discuss what choices they would make in the forum.
-I get bored and find myself at the 'I'm feeling Lucky' button for quite large amounts of time, and a try again button would be nice, right there in the upper-right hand corner.
-The subtraction of basic lands except the old dual ones and the artifact ones from I'm Feeling Lucky
-Color pie for the deck builder showing both cost and manabase
-For the deck tester, possibly the addition of adding two decks to play a mini match against yourself or pass and play, with that the ability to look at the cards in your library and also look at your library.
-
Great ideas, but some of them tread dangerously close to copywrite/intellectual property infringement.
There is already a button for try again in "I'm feeling lucky" in the beta version which will soon be released. The playable thing can't be done for copyright issues. Probably the same for the pack opening
Some good stuff here.
'The subtraction of basic lands from I'm Feeling Lucky' - the 'next one' button will solve it.
'Pack opening' and related will have to wait till I establish a proper working relationship with WotC, one which doesn't involve lawyers and angry community members.
Most of the rest is a pretty accurate prediction of where iMtG is aiming, well done ;)
The "Deck Briefcase"(â,,¢î,,) Is an awesome idea!!!
I really like it! There are quite a lot of users who post multiple decks quite frequently, (myself included) and this would make the viewing of them more palettable.
As long as we remain troll free (knock on cardstock) the star rating system sounds pretty nice too.
-Tradematchmaking: pairing users who have cards each other contains in there needed and trade binder.
-Sideways scrolling of deck viewing, while seeing decks in the forum, the iPhone could flip and view the deck, just like the deckbuilder.
- Trade log; user could save trades they did so they know where everything went, I sometimes can't remember what was traded for what, this escpecially helps in large trades.
'Tradematchmaking' engine was revealed to beta testers yesterday. Maybe you should join them? ;)

And it's wicked! Jus' sayin. Lol
After the "community deck" is done, then I may be able to run a community draft. :D

I don't want to steal your thunder, but could I do it?
Also, Piotr, I have signed up to be a beta tester, downloaded and registered for testflight, just haven't been getting emails.

Sure. :) I think you have better draft experience than me.
Oooh I just had a great idea: The 8-team draft!
How it works:
1. Post a thread in General Discussion that says "sign up for 8-man-draft"
2. People sign in.
3. We split the signed-in groups into teams, then we all "draft".
4. Build decks on Cockatrice.
5. Playtest!
I don't think that's gonna work out (since we have low members of community). Maybe members vs. the mods winston draft?
How many members do you need?
There are some sites that actually simulate group drafts
We could just use tappedout.com's simulater.
How about we set a team of drafters(around sixteen, so we are not so dependent on individuals, and then we show our picks and someone(loop-s-pool) discusses the picks? I would be in for the team if you want me, I have little draft experience though

I'll throw that idea out the window, but two or three.

I would just get the whole community involved rather than a shortlist of 16. We only have like 20 people that go on here all the time.
